It can be lonely and mentally wearing moving to a new place. You may even forget or question why you started your travel assignment in the first place. It’s okay, it takes time to adjust to new environments. It is natural to feel fatigue from traveling. I’ve personally found watching movies to be a great way to pass time, recover from traveling, and get inspired about life. Here are 4 inspirational movies I recommend you check out.

The Pursuit of Happiness

This movie is inspired by a true story of Chris Gardner, a San Francisco salesman trying to make ends meet for him and his 5-year-old son. Will Smith, plays the main character and you see him work hard in an unpaid internship at a competitive stockbroker-training program for the hopes of living a better life. This moving tale will leave you inspired to always pursue your dreams and to never settle until you are happy.

Rocky

This film was made in 1976 and it’s about a small-time boxer that gets an opportunity of a life time, to fight, Apollo Creed, a heavy-weight champion. This movie is all about having heart, self-respect, and determination. Watching Rocky will get you motivated to keep on going!

Slumdog Millionaire

This is a story of an orphan, Jamal Malik, who grew up in the slums of India. You learn about his past and all the struggles and injustice he had to face. This emotional movie not only has all the feels, but it even has a romantic story in it. If you watch this movie, I do warn you, get your tissues out!

Good Will Hunting

I absolutely love this movie. It’s an underdog movie about how Will Hunting, a janitor, from M.I.T. is a genius and solves a difficult math problem that none of the graduate students at M.I.T. could solve. He gets help from a psychologist to help him find direction in his life. It’s a very moving movie worth watching.
