At Valley Healthcare, we work tirelessly to help our travel nurses find the perfect assignment to fit their needs. This is not an easy task and it requires an united Team to make it happen. Since 2002, we have been working to place thousands of nurses. Through trial and error, we have developed the perfect recipe to set our Team up for success. We believe that the success of a Team comes from taking care of your people first. When you create a work environment that is fun and for the people, you are nurturing and cultivating a company with great culture. As a ripple effect, the love we give to our employees are passed down in the work we do and thus, our travel nurses reap the benefits.
We believe that leading a healthy lifestyle results in a more positive and energetic Team member. When your body and mind are alert, you can do your best work. We encourage our staff to work out by offering to pay for their gym membership. In the home office, we have weekly salad Tuesdays and daily 3 o’clock walks together. We even provide no-cost health, dental and vision insurances for our travel nurses and our internal staff.
This week, we treated our top Team players that hit their goals to a fun all-expense paid 5-day trip to Cabo. Our Team members and their plus ones explored the sandy beaches with our CEO Steve and his amazing wife, Heather (who is also a wonderful Team player at Valley). At Valley, we have a work hard play hard mentality. If there is one recommendation we could give other companies about creating a happy workplace, it is to reward your Team members with positive recognition.
