Professional Background:
Before TotalMed, I spent years in real estate and property management, helping people through some of the biggest moves of their lives. That work taught me to listen first, sweat the details, and keep things moving when timelines get tight. Now I bring those same skills to allied travelers, so you’ve got someone in your corner from the first call to your last shift.
What Do You Love—or Get Most Excited About—In Recruitment?
Finding the assignment that actually fits. Not just the pay, but the setting, the schedule, the location, and where you want your career to go next. I’d rather ask more questions up front and get it right than rush you into something. I also love being the person you text when something comes up mid-contract, even if it’s not about your next job.
Do You Have Any Personal Connections to Nursing or Allied Health?
When I first moved from Oregon to Florida, I ended up in a building full of travel nurses. I got a front-row seat to what this life really looks like: a new city every few months, a new facility, new routines, and handling it all with a great attitude. It’s why I never treat housing, licensing, or start dates like small stuff. I’ve seen how much they matter.
What Does the Nursing/Allied Health Industry Mean to You?
You’re the people who show up when a department’s short and patients still need their scans and care. My job is to handle everything else so you can focus on that. Clear pay, honest answers, and someone who actually follows through.
Nurse Appreciation Stories and Special Shout-Outs:
My mother-in-law recently went through cancer treatment, and I got to see up close how much the people around her mattered. The techs, therapists, nurses, and everyone in between didn’t just do their jobs. They made her feel safe, kept our family in the loop, and brought real kindness to some really hard days. That’s who I get to work for now, and I don’t take it lightly. Thank you to everyone who shows up like that for patients and their families.
Personal Background:
I grew up on a fishing boat in Oregon, so long days and changing conditions feel pretty normal to me. I’ve moved cross-country a few times, Oregon to Florida twice with a Colorado stop in between, so I know what it takes to pack up and start fresh. These days I’m back in Oregon with my wife, our dog and two cats.
