What Do You Love—or Get Most Excited About—In Recruitment?
I’ve been a recruiter for almost 3 years, and I’m passionate about educating my travelers about what to expect when taking on their first assignment. Answering questions is one of my favorite things to do! I want to ensure everyone is fully prepared for their travel journey and often over-explain (in the best way possible). I’m a big-picture thinker and apply that to how I prepare my travelers for assignments. I’m an open book and run a TikTok explaining the ins and outs of travel nursing from a recruiter’s perspective. Do You Have Any Personal Connections to Nursing or Allied Health?
My mom has been a nurse for 33 years, primarily in Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and Utilization Review, and my best friend is an ICU nurse!
Personal Background:
I’m originally from Iowa but moved to Nashville for college to play volleyball. I’ve lived here ever since and am still involved with the sport! I have coached collegiate men’s volleyball since 2020 and own a small business offering private volleyball lessons for middle- and high-school-aged girls. When I’m not recruiting or coaching, you can find me with my husband and our 2 dogs, Dolly and Minnie (named after Dolly Parton and Minnie Pearl). We love hiking, going to concerts, and exploring all that Nashville has to offer.
